Alistair has over 25 years of experience in investment management. After qualifying as an ACA in 1993 in London, Alistair specialised in investing in emerging market equities and equity derivatives, living for five years in Hong Kong during the handover to China, working at an Asian stockbroker, WI Carr.
Returning home in 1998, he worked at Merrill Lynch on servicing Institutional clients from London before becoming a portfolio manager for three Emerging Market funds between 2004 and 2013. This included a four-year stint with the Emerging market fund at Bluecrest Capital.
Alistair holds the Diploma in Financial Planning, the Investment Management Certificate qualification, a STEPS certificate in Trusts and Estate Planning and has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Southampton University. He is married with three children and his interests include golf, cycling, skiing and travel.

- Compete in a select number of amateur golf tournaments a year
